On Thursday, April 22, 2021, Earth Day, O’Leary Asphalt, Inc. helped a local church spruce up its exterior. The church is in Washington, DC and focuses on its mission and the dedication to it’s African-American parishioners. O’Leary offered to clean up the church’s property and give it a fresh look for Sunday services and the spring season.
We sent a crew of O’Leary employees to clean up the grass, flowerbeds, and plant trees, and bushes. “The guys were excited to get there and clean up the grounds. We wanted to help the church and do whatever was needed.” Jimmy Meadows, Foreman.
Being a local family-owned business ourselves, this project aligns with our mission and values as a company. “It is important for us to give back to the community we live in and we wanted to help out a local church or charity for Earth Day. We were able to do so and bring joy to the pastor and parishioners of the church.” Jerry O’Leary, CFO.
